2008 has been a terrific year so far - we started off with Scarlet, Sharon and Paul Faulds vizsla finishing off her FDJ in fine form and because Sharon threw her back out I had the pleasure of running her at one test and Sharon finished her a few weeks later. They also finished her show championship this past summer.

- This spring I had the fun of running Brenda and Bill Brown's 2 gordon setters at hunt tests. Hannah finished her FDJ 3 straight with terrific scores and Chester finished his title in 4 - not bad for a breed we never see at tests. I have been running dogs in hunt tests since 1983 and have never had a dog run such a perfect course as hannah did at one test. The conditions were horrible but she still managed to have the highest score of the day. They are both wonderful dogs with great bird sense that will be going on to F.D.

Then this fall an english pointer "Ella" went to the Hunt Test just ouside Cornwall and with her co-owner Deanna Ross managed to take the highest score of the day with a perfect score of 100 in junior. She followed this up with two scores of 99 at the O.A.P.B. Hunt Test to finish her junior title. Congratulations.
Also at the same test was Jenniffer Howling with her lovely solid liver G.S.P. Ruthie who is a 7 month old baby and she got a fabulous score of 94 and finished her title the following week-end at the O.A.P.B. test - not bad for a baby.
At the same test I had the pleasure of running my little "rent a dog" Chelsea who finished her F.D. title with a flare and a great score of 191, not bad in pretty horrible conditions. So not only did she complete her C.D.X. 3 straight this spring, she also finished her F.D. title.

And to finish off our year with a BIG bang, our one and only weimeraner Wiley took her first leg of FDJ on Sept 21 - she's on her way - a big FD in her future - this young dog has a lot to offer the field.
