OBEDIENCE
Obedience is my secondary passion, and I'm truly blessed to be able to "rent another dog" - Ricki Abrams has so kindly lent me a very special boy - "kodi" - my bear dog.

"a very special boy"
NEWS FLASH!
On October 25th, 2008 Ko entered the Novice B ring at the Muskoka trial in Gravenhurst under respected judge Susan DesCotes and was amazing for such a baby boy. He tried so hard, and got a very respectable 195 for a first place finish in a strong class of dogs. He continues to amaze me - he really had to work through some problems but being the showman he is he managed to not give me a heart attack - especially in the long sits and downs with dogs taking off, sitting up and leaving their positions - he really gave his all and I'm his biggest admirer and very grateful for Ricki Abrams for allowing me such a special dog to train and trial - its been a huge learning experience for me.
October 26th, 2008 Ko took his second high in class with a 196.5 - I'm so proud of him, however we got lost in the dust of his mother, Ricki Abrams who got a perfect score of 200 with her amazing dog "Gucci" - something to look up and aspire to.
November 8th and 9th, 2008 Ko took his third and fourth first place finishes in Novice B to complete his Companion Dog title. He has been such fun. So now its onwards and upwards and the finishing touches to be put on his CDX training.
Jaymar Luvits Kodi Chrome CDX
On November 22nd and 23rd Kodi and I competed in Tillsonburg at the CKC Charity event and we had two terrific runs to finish our novice runs. On Saturday he excelled with a 197.5 and on Sunday a 196 so we are thrilled with this young boy - 6 runs, 6 passes with wonderful scores 4 first place finishes and two 2nd place. Quite a record for such a little man.
Ko hit the CDX ring in the fall of 2009 and finished his title three straight with scores all in the 190's and class placements which is terrific with the competition in Open B. He continues to amaze me and we are having such a blast learning together.
TESS RETURNS TO THE OBEDIENCE RING
At a recent NAMBR trial my girl Tess had two terrific runs to take first in Novice B with 196 in both trials - and that score took the High in both trials, we were so pleased with her as "stays" have become an issue and she managed finally to stay for the required time.
