Achievements: Tess started and finished her Canadian championship in very short order, ably handled by her friend Jenniffer Howling, Included in her wins was a best of winners/best puppy in show at the O.A.P.B. Pointing Group Specialty and then went on to the U.S. where she finished her career with a bang with two specialty 4 and 5 point majors - all thanks to Valerie McGraw who loved and handled her. Tess then went on to her obedience career - she finished her C.D. three straight in both Canada and America and included in those legs was one tied high in trial in Atlanta, Ga., with a fabulous score of 197.5 (but lost in a run off to an OTCH dog) in a ring that had birds flying everywhere. We then went on to do Rally in one week-end in America with scores of 94, 98 and 100 and having two high in class over a huge field of 60 dogs. She has just completed her Rally Novice in Canada with scores of 100, 100 and 99 (2 first places and 1 second) so her joy for work continues to shine.
Tess has now entered the crazy world of agility and is continuing in her winning ways. There is no doubt this dog is a show-off - she turns on when there are people watching her which makes life difficult for me, but she is always fun, full of life and the ultimate showgirl! She will work for anyone which is a terrific trait to have.
